Junior Leadership Programme
Week 1 : June 29 to July 3
Week 2: July 6 to July 10

A fully immersive and residential experience, the Junior Leadership Programme is a carefully designed progression opportunity for young people who have previously attended Inside Out Camps and are now ready to step into greater responsibility.
Now in its second year, the programme is open to past campers aged 16 and over who wish to build real-world experience in a supportive, values-led environment. It recognises that leadership is not learned in theory, but through presence, contribution and reflection.
Why the Programme Matters
For many young adults, meaningful experience can be difficult to access at this stage of life. The Junior Leadership Programme bridges that gap by offering participants the chance to:
- Develop confidence, initiative and self-awareness
- Learn how to lead by example within a diverse group of younger campers
- Understand responsibility, boundaries and teamwork in practice
- Gain experience that supports future education, employment and personal development.
Junior Leaders are not observers. They are trusted contributors who play an important role in the rhythm and culture of camp, supported at all times by the senior team.
Who the Programme Is For
- Former Inside Out Camp participants (within the last four years)
- Aged 16 or over
- Young people who are dependable, engaged and open to learning
- Those willing to commit fully to the programme and both weeks of camp
- Places are intentionally limited to ensure each Junior Leader is known, supported and meaningfully involved.
Experience with Recognition
While the programme is non-paid, we believe strongly in recognising commitment and contribution. Successful participants who complete the programme in full will receive:
- A Certificate of Completion acknowledging their role and experience
- A monetary-valued gift as a tangible thank you for their time and effort
This recognition reflects both the responsibility entrusted to Junior Leaders and the value of the experience gained.
