The coaches and camp leaders at Inside Out Camp are an inspiring and energetic group of individuals whose enthusiasm and experience make Inside Out Camp the best possible experience for those attending.

The team comprises of specialists in their field from sports coaches to primary and secondary school teachers with a great deal of experience in providing engaging programmes for teens, through activities such as yoga, basketball, and many more.

Our amazing team are here to make the time at Inside Out Camp memorable. They provide all the support that the teens need to build new skills, face new challenges and most importantly – have fun!

All participating facilitators are Garda vetted and the programme at Inside Out Camp complies with all health and safety protocols.

HILLARY NETSIYANWA – DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Hillary is a Training and Development Specialist with a Bachelor’s degree in physical education teaching and coaching. He is the regional director of  operations at HoopsLife, a sports development coordinator with the NEIC, a youth basketball coach and coordinator for Eanna Basketball Club and the head coach for teams at Colaiste Eanna and Trinity College.

Hillary is also an artist who specialises in poetry and digital media having published and performed on various platforms.

MEGAN WRENN – COACH

Megan is a mindfulness life coach from Dublin. She is an adventure lover who has always been very connected to nature and felt most at home when up the mountains.

Megan’s aspiration in life is to encourage people to become the best version of themselves through using their voice, sharing their stories, letting go of external opinions and owning who they are.

DAVE DORAN – COACH

Dave is a basketball and track coach, outdoor enthusiast, advocate for positive mental health and development.

He primarily works in St Columba’s College as a basketball and athletics coach, working with kids from age 11 up to 19. He is just finishing his 12th season as an assistant coach in the national leagues of Irish basketball.

ALEX KIERNAN – LEADER

Alex is one of the current top Irish Basketball coaches in the country as well as being one of Irelands’ top young Super League Referees. He is currently the Underage Academy Lead in two well-known basketball clubs where he looks to develop the next generation of top Irish players.

In 2024, Alex took on the role as Director of our Junior Leader Programme and will be working closely with our new leaders this summer making sure they get the most out of their camp experience!

Currently studying Law, Alex hopes to pursue a career in the Legal sector while also seeking to gain valuable insight by coaching overseas in the near future.

NEIL JUDD – COACH

Neil is a qualified English and Music teacher currently working in Behaviour for learning in a Dublin secondary school.

He loves singing, playing guitar and anything to do with music. Neil is very interested in cooking and all things BBQ. For hobbies he plays rugby and basketball.

FAROUQ RAHEEM – COACH

Meet Farouq. Farouq is a youth justice worker and has a passion for the development and coaching of young people! He has many years of experience coaching youth basketball.

We’re excited to have Farouq at camp again this year as he brings with him a wide range of skills and interests. These interests include all things sports, running, music, movies, chess, trivia, dancing!

SINEAD DOYLE – LEADER

Sinéad has a degree in psychology from Dublin and worked as a behavioral therapist with autistic children. She is currently pursuing a post graduate in Medicine at Ulster University, Derry.

She is the Chairperson of the Child Health Society and has a passion for children’s  health and wellbeing. Sinéad has been a part of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion team delivering relevant training to students.

ANA FLOOD GOMEZ – LEADER

Ana is a professional contemporary dancer and actor. Ana moved to the UK at 16 to pursue her love for dance and performance. She studied in Morea Performing Arts for a year, leaving with a diploma in dance and musical theatre. Upon returning home Ana began working as a professional dancer and began her study’s in Bow Street, Academy of Screen Acting.

Her first professional job was as a dancer in tv series “Moonhaven”. From there she has continued to work as a dancer and actor in corporate events, pantos, short films, plays, tv commercials and most recently the Netflix original series “Wednesday”.

Ana continues to keep striving for more in her career and personal life, leading with her love and passion for art/ performance and connection with like minded people.

ERICA EGAN – LEADER

Erica is from Dublin and has represented Ireland’s U18 national basketball team. While living in England for a year, she played in a European league, fueling her passion for travel and new experiences.

She now studies Exercise Science on an NCAA basketball scholarship in New Jersey. Erica plans to become an athletic trainer and is excited to bring her energy and leadership to camp this summer as a coach, helping kids grow, have fun, and feel confident through sport.
